Following La Flora Group’s official acquisition of Mukdara Beach Villa & Spa Resort, we are excited to unveil its new chapter: LA SOLAYA KHAO LAK, the latest addition to the La Flora group family.
This new identity marks more than just a name change. LA SOLAYA will be positioned as a 5-star retreat that embodies authentic Thai hospitality and timeless tranquility, representing a renewed vision inspired by the serene nature and graceful cultural elegance of Thailand. From the first glow of sunrise to the last warmth of sunset, each moment invites you to experience time not by the clock, but by feeling. Here, light sets the pace — soft and slow in the morning, vibrant and playful through the day, golden and reflective as evening falls.
As part of our rebranding, the resort is being refreshed, with newly styled guest rooms, upgraded facilities, and redesigned landscapes, all to offer more serene and seamless stay.

- Entrance redesigned to improve circulation and create a better arrival experience.
- Simplified lobby to reduce clutter and remodeled to offer more welcoming impression.
Beach Restaurant:
- Reimagined with Thai-inspired lines, upgraded furniture, and expanded indoor seating.
- Service areas extended and optimized to enhance functionality and dining experience.
Beach Pool & Beach Bar:
- Removed beachfront pool villas to expand sunbathing and lounging areas.
- New beachfront pool with new modernized sunken bar designed for utmost all-day beachfront enjoyment from sunrise to sunset.
New Play Zone:
- Converted under-lobby space into a relaxing indoor play zone for teens, equipped with indoor games and cozy snack bar.
- Installed floating toys into children’s pool and enhanced play features.
Main Swimming Pool:
- Pool refreshed with new style tiling and redesigned surrounding landscape.
LA SOLAYA is more than a rebrand — it’s a relaunch. It represents La Flora Group’s long-term investment in redefining premium hospitality in Khao Lak. By starting anew, we aim to deliver a completely elevated experience for modern travelers, while setting a new benchmark in thoughtful design, service culture, and beachside luxury.
The resort has been closed for a complete redevelopment since May 1, 2025, and will officially reopen its doors to guests from January 15, 2026 onward, welcoming travelers to experience an entirely new chapter in coastal hospitality.
To reflect the scale and permanence of this transformation, we have formally requested that all previous reviews, images, and references to “Mukdara Beach Villa & Spa Resort” be removed from public platforms such as Tripadvisor. The new LA SOLAYA KHAO LAK deserves to begin its journey with a clean slate — one that reflects its true identity and renewed vision.
